1. Service Description
Yalla Khat is a technical platform for location tracking and pre-arranged ride sharing.
Users arrange rides between themselves outside the app (via WhatsApp or other means).
The app is a technical intermediary only — it is not a transport company and bears no responsibility for any agreement made between users.
2. Eligibility
- The app is suitable for users aged 12 and above.
- Parental consent is recommended for minors.
- A valid phone number is required for registration.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
- Do not share your account with anyone else.
- If you suspect unauthorized access to your account, contact us immediately.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.
4. Ads and Content Responsibility
- The user alone is responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of their ad content.
- Yalla Khat does not verify the information posted and bears no responsibility for it.
- Ad content (name, photo, route) is visible to the public including unregistered users.
- Contact information is visible to registered users only.
- By posting content on the app, you grant us the right to display it to other users for the purpose of operating the service.
- Ads may be boosted to appear at the top of the listing for a fee.
5. Driver Obligations
- Provide accurate information about your vehicle.
- Comply with applicable traffic laws.
- Treat passengers with respect.
6. Passenger Obligations
- Treat the driver with respect.
- Be at the designated pickup point on time.
7. Payments
- The app offers optional paid features that may expand in the future.
- There is no direct payment between drivers and passengers within the app.
- When selecting a paid feature, you will be redirected to an independent external payment gateway to complete the transaction.
- Yalla Khat does not store any card or payment information.
- Refund policies and payment disputes are subject to the terms of the external payment provider.
8. Advertising
The app displays ads through trusted advertising networks. It also allows users to post ride-sharing ads in accordance with our Content Policy.
9. Prohibited Conduct
The following are strictly prohibited for all users:
- Posting false or misleading information.
- Harassing or intimidating other users.
- Using the app for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempting unauthorized access to app systems.
- Creating fake or multiple accounts for the same person.
10. Limitation of Liability
Yalla Khat is a technical intermediary only. We are not liable for:
- Any incidents, losses, or disputes that occur between users.
- Service interruptions due to circumstances beyond our control.
- User identities or the accuracy of personal information — the app does not verify user identities and all interactions between users are entirely at their own risk.
11. Amendments
We reserve the right to amend these terms at any time. Your continued use of the app after any amendment is published constitutes your acceptance of the changes. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
